We're collaborating with Kettering Rec Center to create ONE rec and club soccer pathway in Kettering at Delco Park! Players ages 4-9 are encouraged to register for Kettering Rec's fall soccer league using the link in the Summer Activities Guide.
Metro FC's Fall Rec Program is Changing in 2024!
We invite players of all levels ages 10-14 (through 8th grade) to join us for this league-based, small-sided fall rec program that provides the perfect blend of learning and competition for beginning and experienced players!
FORMAT: This is an 8-week program with one practice (typically held on Tuesdays or Wednesdays but subject to volunteer coach schedule--if you want to set the schedule, please volunteer to coach!) and one game (total of 7 games all on Saturday mornings) each week (no games on Labor Day Weekend). All events are held at Delco Park in Kettering.
SCHEDULE: We will kick the season off with practices the week of 8/26/24, games start on 9/7/24 through 10/19/24 (rain date-10/26/24, no games on Labor Day weekend).
FEES: Program cost is $75 (includes uniform and post-season award) through July 21 Early Registration Deadline. $90 on or after July 22 until registration deadline on August 12.
TEAMS: Team composition is determined by registration. Teams are typically co-ed, and age groups may be combined depending on registration numbers. If you wish to be on a team with a friend, please use the Special Request field to indicate this during registration.
TO REGISTER: CLICK HERE and follow the prompts to register for Fall Rec League (ages 10-14). You will need to create an account in GotSport (our new registration platform) if you do not already have one and then return to the link above to complete all fields of the registration process for each child using age/grade they will be entering this fall. Please be sure that you are registering your child and not yourself if creating a new account. Registration is not complete until your credit card payment has been confirmed. Registration deadline is August 12.
EQUIPMENT NEEDED: All players will need to wear/bring the following to every practice and game: Soccer Cleats, Shinguards, Water/Hydration, Soccer Ball (game balls will be size 4 through age 12, size 5 for age 13-14). Game uniforms will be distributed on Gameday #1.
